Our Professional Staff

Dr. Avni Patankar completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and following her work with the Marcus Institute in Atlanta, she decided a career in Speech Pathology and Audiology after helping pediatric patients diagnosed with genetic disorders. Her interest in Audiology peeked when she was at Auburn University completing clinical coursework prior to graduate studies. She completed her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from East Tennessee State University in 2011. Dr. Patankar received her doctorate training at the Mountain Home Veterans Affairs Medical System in Johnson City, TN and completed her externship in Audiology at the University of California Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA.

Elisabeth joined Maple Hearing Clinic in June of 2024. She is kind, caring, and hard working as a Patient Care Coordinator. Elisabeth is bilingual and enjoys communicating with our patients in English and Spanish. Helping others has always been an important part of her life; it's something that she wholeheartedly enjoys and looks forward to doing so at Maple Hearing Clinic. She is a proud mom of three boys and two girls and in her free time loves to travel and exercise!

Ashlee joined Maple Hearing Clinic in June of 2026, bringing a genuine passion for hearing healthcare inspired by her father's personal journey with hearing loss and her lifelong love of helping others. She comes with extensive experience in insurance claims, Medicare and private insurance billing, accounts receivable follow-up, patient scheduling, and HIPAA-compliant record keeping. Her background spans hearing healthcare coordination, higher education financial administration, and hands-on work with pediatric populations, giving her a well-rounded perspective and a warm approach with every patient she encounters. Outside of work, Ashlee is a proud wife and mom of two who loves spending time with her family and discovering new restaurants in and around the area.
