Meet The Audiologist: Dr. Avni Patankar
Her Background
Dr. Patankar is a board certified, experienced audiologist who provides compassionate, committed, and lasting care for her patients. Coming from a family of hearing loss, she understands first-hand the struggles and effects of (untreated) hearing loss on the quality of life.
Education
Concurrent to obtaining her doctoral degree from East Tennessee State University in 2011, she obtained her training at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Johnson City, TN, and her externship/residency at the University of California Davis Medical Center.
Experience
She has been practicing in Georgia since 2012 with her work transcending the entire spectrum of population from pediatric to geriatrics.
Her Mission
Providing the best care for her patients and watching them engage with their loved ones has been her life’s mission in the field of audiology. For her, the work of an audiologist starts and ends with exceptional and customized patient care, period.
